Casting

Throughout the years, Lainey has worked on a variety of casting projects, mainly consisting of TV series' and pilots for major streaming services and networks, and both studio and independent feature films.

 

As a teenager, Lainey met a Casting Director who ignited her interest in the casting process, and she began to assist them with films, commercials, and music videos. When she moved to LA, Lainey then secured ad hoc and temp work with TV/Film casting offices, alongside her acting projects. She then went on to independently cast a webseries and several short films.

 

After university, she transitioned into full-time work for various casting offices (including both Emmy & CSA Artios award winners and nominees) , first as an Assistant and now an Associate -- beginning in LA and now in London.

 

She has worked with Casting Directors including: Gail Stevens & Rebecca Farhall, Rose Wicksteed, Junie Lowry-Johnson & Libby Goldstein, Nancy Bishop, Sophie Kingston-Smith, Gemma Sykes, Kirsty Kinnear, Jennifer Treadwell & Monica Kelly, and more.

 

Lainey also leads educational workshops for actors in her spare time.
